Arpa: stipendio lordo mensile €3.860,86; audizione il 6 e 7 ottobre 2016 presso Helsinki Music Centre; termine per l’iscrizione il 24 agosto 2014, ore 15:00.
Audition repertoire:
• Louis Spohr: Fantasia in C Minor, Op. 35
• Claude Debussy: Danse sacrée et danse profane
• Orchestral and chamber music assignments to be announced after the closing date for applications
Auditions and application period:
• The auditions will be held at the Helsinki Music Centre on October 6, 2016 from 10.00 a.m. onwards and on October 7, 2016 from 2.00 p.m. onwards.
• The deadline for applications is 3.00 p.m. Finnish time on August 24, 2016. No applications will
be accepted after this time and date!
• In the auditions the applicants may use the orchestra’s instruments or bring their own. The orchestral excerpts on the second day of the audition will be performed with the orchestra.
Applications and video qualification:
• Informal applications must be sent by email within the application period to audition.rso@yle.fi
• It is important the application gives all the following information:
o Your personal details and a brief CV or an account of previous musician experience
o Full contact details (home address, email and telephone number)
o Mention of whether you wish to use the RSO accompanist for the audition.
o A video of the applicant performing the following work: Spohr: Fantasia in C Minor, Op. 35
• The video must be filmed with one camera and with the player and the instrument in the picture throughout. Post-processing of the sound and/or picture is prohibited.
• Maximum sound and picture quality should be aimed at.
• The video should function without any problems on PC.
• Please do not send the video as email attachment – upload the recording online and send us the link (for example Dropbox, Youtube or Vimeo) with your application email.
Audition invitation and a list of orchestral and chamber music repertoire will be sent by email to selected candidates after the closing date for applications.
The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra welcomes applications from candidates of all nationalities.
